KATHRYN DAVIS

Kathryn Davis is Miss Lancaster County 2026 and the co-founder of PhlebotomyFam, a family-focused blood donation movement. She is passionate about community service, storytelling, and encouraging people of all ages to see how one small act, like donating blood, can save lives.

PhlebotomyFam is a community initiative Kathryn co-founded with her mom to inspire families to donate blood together. The name comes from the word phlebotomy, which is the medical process of drawing blood for donation, testing, or treatment.

PhlebotomyFam turns that simple act into something powerful by focusing on family and community. It reminds us that when we come together to give, we can make a life-saving difference for others. With its slogan, “It takes all types to save lives,” and Kathryn’s personal message, “Giving is better with the family you choose,” PhlebotomyFam celebrates diversity, unity, and compassion in action.

Kathryn’s advocacy began after a youth group bus crash that changed her life. Several of her friends needed blood transfusions, and she experienced firsthand how vital blood donors are. That experience inspired her to build PhlebotomyFam and dedicate her work to ensuring blood is always available when lives depend on it.
